Barcelona decides a new deal
The Spanish football club Barcelona paid 1 million euros as a contract to sign Gustavo Maya, the Brazilian striker, Sao Paulo, in preparation for bringing him to the Catalan team during the next summer transfers.
Barca will have to pay another 3.5 million euros to the Brazilian team, before June 30, to end the Maya contract.
Under the agreement between the two parties, Maya signed a contract in which he defends the colors of Barcelona until the summer of 2022, with Sao Paulo retaining 30 per cent of the 19-year-old's rights.
Maya drew the attention of Barcelona Scouts during his participation in January in the Sao Paulo Youth Championship, where he scored 3 goals in seven games.
It should be noted that Maya played with all categories of the Brazilian national team.
